This system verifies voter identity by recognizing ID documents during all domestic Early Voting and Overseas Voting processes conducted by the National Election Commission and automatically issues ballots.
Introduced in 2014 to enhance voter convenience and increase participation, the system enables voters to use the Early Voting and Overseas Voting Solution at any polling station nationwide during the early voting period without prior registration. Using the Identity Verification Solution, various types of identification documents are quickly and accurately recognized to verify voter identity. After verification, voters can complete the process by scanning a fingerprint or providing a signature at a self-service terminal. Ballots and designated return envelopes are then issued, allowing voters to cast their vote seamlessly.
